Nuri Sakong (b. 1985) is a Korean-born artist and curator living and working between Norway and South Korea. Her practice draws on Korean calligraphy and literature to explore how materiality and texture shape spatial perception and embodied experience. Moving beyond the purely visual, her installations engage tactile and sensory modalities, opening more inclusive encounters with art, particularly for audiences with visual impairments.
As founder and director of Gallery Ethos in South Korea, Sakong extends her artistic ethos into curatorial practice, fostering dialogue, supporting artists, and cultivating cross-cultural exchange.
